South of the Alps on the beautiful Nassfeld

The mountain panorama takes your breath away, the sun shines all year long, and from December to April, low pressure areas over the Adriatic Sea bring powder snow that is often several metres deep.

Between the Adriatic Sea and the Grossglockner mountain

Our hotel is located at 1,500 metres above sea level and boasts an incredibly beautiful vista. From your window you will have a view of the surrounding mountains, which reach a height of 2,500 metres. But when you stay with us, you will experience more than just mountains. Carinthia is the land of lakes: you will find Austria's warmest lakes here, in the south. The Pressegger See lido, the Weißbriach adventure pool and the lovely “southern fjord” Weißensee lake are within easy reach.

This mix of mountain, pool, and lake is something very special. Put your feet in the warm water and discover the endless sandy beaches on the Adriatic Sea –a mere 90-minute drive away.

Beach holidays in the mountains: Mare e Monti, simply superb!
