Our family hotel**** is located at a healthy 1,500 metres in crisp mountain air with a view down the valley like looking down from an eagle's nest. Out location on the Nassfeld plateau is unmatched: we look at the impressive Gartnerkofel peak in the east, the landmark mountain in the region. The High Tauern stretch out in front of us – and Italy is just a stone’s throw away.

The Waldner family gives you and your family a warm and cheerful welcome! We are happy to be your hosts – it is in our genes and in our hearts. The Gartnerkofel hotel grew up with us. Every year, our hotel became more comfortable, more exclusive, and more beautiful.

  • New panoramic restaurant with seven lovingly designed dining rooms – including a stylish adults-only area for relaxing moments of indulgence
  • Exclusive wine tasting room with a walk-in wine cellar for white and red wines
  • Modern buffet area spanning over 250 m² featuring “Waldner’s Secret Corner” for special culinary delights
  • Extended restaurant hours: Enjoy a flexible dinner and come between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
    New 200 m² panoramic fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment from Life Fitness
  • Completely new laundry facility for even more comfort and cleanliness behind the scenes
  • Modern employee lounge with a new dining and relaxation area – because well-being starts with the team
