Something for everyone – we’ve got it all
Whether hiking, rock climbing, Nordic walking, mountain biking or simply having a leisurely mountain pasture picnic – there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Walks & Hikes
Nordic walking is a sport that originally came from Finland. Walking with poles requires that we work our whole body, not just our legs but our upper body muscles too, which means it is 40 per cent more effective as a workout for your entire body than normal walking is.
You burn more calories too. Instead of the 280 kcal with normal walking, Nordic walkers burn 400 kcal an hour. Not only the leg muscles are worked, the use of poles also loosens your shoulder and chest muscles and strengthens your arms.
We offer a guided Nordic walking tour twice a week. Starting point is the hotel and it takes us to the Rossalm via the Tressdorfer Alm.
