Mountain biking on some promising routes – we’ve got it all.

The Panorama bicycle tour has some spectacular views to look forward to. The tour takes you from Hermagor along the cycle path R2 to Danz. From there, you continue along a paved road all the way to Kreutz ob Jenig. From there we pedal along the mountain bike route to Guggenberg. The pleasant trail offers a genuine bike experience. Having arrived in Guggenberg, you are rewarded with a spectacular panoramic view of the Carnic Alps. Particularly striking is the bizarre mountain top of the Gartnerkofel (2,154m). The descent to the valley takes you along a narrow paved road to Hermagor.

Experience a lovely, leisurely bicycle tour along the Carnic bicycle path R3 which runs parallel to the Italian border and the Gail Valley River.

Starting out here, there are a number of enticing tours: Either in the direction of Nötsch in Gailtal or Kötschach Mauthen. The Gail bicycle tour takes you through one of Carinthia’s most charming sceneries.

From Hotel Gartnerkofel we head for the Tressdorfer Alm from where we take it nice and easy and go the Madritsche by taking the Millennium Express. From there, the “Lift and Bike Giro” leads us to the Gmanberg from where we return to the Sonnenalpe by cable car.
